We have delivered BroaDisk to a feed factory for pig farming. In the case of a silo with a capacity of about 50 tons, there were concerns about bridging, and measures against bridging were implemented using foreign-made equipment. This is a case inquiry from a user who has already installed a Brodisk. Although they purchased and installed the Brodisk as a measure against rat holes, they consulted us because they observed that the rat holes had not been resolved upon visual inspection of the inside of the hopper during maintenance. As a countermeasure, we advised them to increase the number of Brodisk installations, reconsider the placement, use a controller with four solenoid valves, and review the air piping (such as tube diameter conditions), which they implemented. After implementing this improvement plan, the user reported that there were no rat holes at all. We have delivered to the manufacturer of quasi-drugs. This user has already been using the Brodisk (standard specification) and has received positive feedback. This time, they consulted us about adopting the Brodisk for another manufacturing device (quasi-drug production), and we provided them with a special specification product that has a proven track record with pharmaceutical manufacturers. For a φ500 hopper, it is possible to consider installing two Brodisk units instead of the Brodisk Mini, but the user expressed a desire to minimize the amount of air used as much as possible, so we decided to install four Brodisk Mini units.
